2015 Amaino opens with pencil shavings, smoke and cedar on the nose, giving way to accents of chocolate box, cigars, coffee and vanilla over a core of red and black cherries and currants and a meaty hint. Medium to full-bodied, it offers understated fruits with a strong frame of ripe, pleasantly grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and lifted.
