Blend: 72% Cab Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 18% Cab Franc Ageing: 16 months in French oak barrels (80% new barrels) Tasting: All spice, cinnamon, root liquorice, dried violets, lavender and pot pourri, an interesting wild, gamey note and an earthy ferrous saline minerality. Quite smoky too.
