Lichen Estate

The 203-acre Lichen Estate sits at the heart of Anderson Valley, half way between Boonville and Philo. In 2008 we planted 7 acres of Pinot noir and Pinot gris vines on meter-by-meter spacing, taking inspiration from the Grand Cru vineyards of Burgundy and Champagne. We have farmed it organically from the outset. This singular vineyard produces singular wines.

Half of our fruit goes into our estate sparkling wine; the other half goes into our estate still wines.
